Edgewater Technical Associates is Hiring an Administrative Specialist (Procurement) Near Carlsbad, NM
Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for an Administrative Specialist (Procurement/Records) opportunity for our customer in Carlsbad, NM to support the DOE’s Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) Project.
Number of Positions: 2
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; some college is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge/experience with records, AP, AR and/or administrative support.
Job Description:
Candidates will support NWP Procurement organization with preparation and processing of close out files. May interface with Buyers, Buyers Assistants, and Accounts Payable in processing and resolving issues with processing of payments.
- Candidates will train and become certified handling WIPP records.
- Will prepare closed procurement files for transfer to the WIPP Records Archive.
- Interface with Buyers Assistants and NWP Accounts Payable with review of invoices and resolving invoice issues.
- Assist Procurement Buying Staff with copying, making labels, searching closed records, and other administrative duties as assigned.
