Located inside The Edgewater, Six Seven Restaurant and Lounge features seasonally inspired cuisine crafted with only the freshest and finest organic and naturally raised ingredients, procured for our guests to enjoy is one of the best downtown Seattle restaurants, offering Pacific Northwest Cuisine. We are a $9 million, three meal period, full-service operation with special event dinning, high volume brunches and a lounge featuring live entertainment and packed happy hours with views of Elliott Bay. Responsibilities:
*Lead the Culinary Ensemble: Collaborate closely with our Executive Chef to compose menus that resonate with our diners. Bring your flair and finesse to the table in designing innovative dishes that rock taste buds.
*Backstage Operations: Direct and harmonize the kitchen brigade, ensuring every chef and cook is in sync. Coordinate preparation, cooking and presentation to ensure each plate is a culinary masterpiece.
*Jam Sessions & Training: Rehearse and train the kitchen team, guiding them on techniques, recipes, and presentation standards to ensure they perform at their peak.
*Stage Management: Oversee inventory, ensuring we hit the right culinary notes by maintaining stock levels and procuring top-quality ingredients. Keep the kitchen stage clean and organized for smooth performances.
*Riff on Creativity: Participate in the composition of new menu items and specials, improvising based on seasonal ingredients and diner feedback. Keep the menu fresh and rocking!
Leadership enjoys the following benefits:
Salary: $100k - $110k plus potential bonus of 25% of salary upon attaining quarterly and annual goals.
Requirements
*Rockstar Culinary Chops: Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, ideally in a high-energy, high-volume kitchen.
*Culinary Credentials: Culinary degree or equivalent rock-solid experience in the culinary arts.
*Lead Guitarist Skills: Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities to conduct the kitchen orchestra smoothly.
*Innovation Amplified: Creative spark and passion for pushing culinary boundaries to craft unforgettable dining experiences.
*Adaptability and Stamina: Ability to perform under pressure and maintain culinary excellence during the fast-paced rush of service.
*Rock Solid Foundation: Must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations and understanding of kitchen operations, and inventory management. Union experience a plus!
*Always Rockin': Must be open to a variable schedule and length of shifts.
