Edgerton Care Center is Hiring a CNA Weekend Warrior Near Edgerton, WI

Edgerton Care Center is looking for CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistants) to work 3 weekends a month caring for our residents. This is an ideal position for students. 
Additional weekday shifts are available as desired. 
We are looking for caring and professional individuals that understand the importance of what they do every day, and want to work in an environment where they are truly appreciated. 
Shifts Available with a premium shift differential for Weekend Availability 
  • AMs - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • PMs - 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM 
  • NOCs - 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM 
Flexible Scheduling available Base pay plus an extra $5 an hour. (With differential if eligible)
PLUS SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL FOR PM / NOC SHIFTS 

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide patient/resident care consistent with each resident's comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care, as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse. The Nursing Assistant completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents, families and other health team members is an essential component of this position. 
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 
  • Must have current Wisconsin Nursing Aid Certification in good standing 
  • Must have good communication skills 
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English 
  • Understands the importance of Attendance and integrity in the medical field 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB, DEPARTMENTAL EXPECTATIONS 
  • Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse. 2. Implements plan of care based on patient/resident physical, psycho-social, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs. 
  • Provides direct patient/resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of, and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions. 
  • Interacts effectively with individuals who are cognitively and/or physically impaired. 
  • Actively maintains the confidentiality of resident and facility information. 
  • Demonstrates respect for co-workers and responds to needs of residents by complying with facility policies on attendance and punctuality. Arrives and begins work on time. 
  • Has working knowledge and ability to comply with facility policies and procedures for workplace safety including infection control procedures, application of universal precautions for blood borne pathogens, use of personal protective equipment and handling of hazardous materials. 
  • Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks. 
  • Documents results of patient/resident care within established policies, procedures and scope of practice. 
  • Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.
