Edge Health is Hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician Near Rushville, IL

  • Seeking for Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Regulatory Requirements:
  • Successfully complete an accredited MLT/CLS, MT/MLS program and have an Associates or Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, Applied Science, chemical, physical or biological science
  • Successful completion of the ASCP/AMT registry exam.
  • Recommended one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Shift Information: Night shift with variable on call
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours
  • Pay Rate : $53/hr
  • Gross Rate: $1908/Wk

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Overtime

Experience:

  • Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CNA (Preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
  • Medical Technologist (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Rushville, IL 62681 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Rushville, IL 62681: Relocate before starting work (Required)
