Description

• Sit with patients who are highly distressed
• Provide comfort to patients through conversations
• Support the patients who need it with daily living tasks such as eating and moving
• Report any changes in a patient’s condition to a supervising nurse
• Adhere to all company policies and legal requirements at all times

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Patient Sitter or similar role
• Ability to handle emotionally distressing situations
• Professional appearance and excellent hygiene
• Ability to act calmly and swiftly under pressure
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Patient Sitter
