Description
A maintenance technician oversees periodic maintenance of equipment and troubleshoots common issues. Daily tasks can include repair and replacement of parts, inspection of new components, and maintaining clean tools.
- Complete periodic maintenance of equipment and machinery by following the recommended upkeep schedule throughout the life of the devices.
- Troubleshoot common issues with equipment and assist operators with getting back to a productive mode.
- Evaluate workspace safety on the production floor to ensure all staff is following guidelines with equipment.
- Complete a variety of tasks related to maintenance of machinery and/or company vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while completing tasks related to maintenance and/or repair.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

- 2 years experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment and/or vehicles
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Tools appropriate for job
- Ability to multitask when necessary
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
