We are currently hiring Crew Members for all of our locations - North Charleston, Daniel Island, and Johns Island.

General Description
This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position working 35 hours during a regular workweek schedule (7:00am -3:30pm, Monday-Friday). The purpose of this position is to perform the necessary landscaping duties to clients of the company. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, fertilizing, raking, planting, sod laying, and digging. This is generally an entry-level position that follows the direction of a Crew Leader and reports to an Account Supervisor. We are willing to train the right candidates with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. The Greenery has constructive training techniques that can take any professional-level candidate and form them into a top-notch employee that can quickly be promoted. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Tasks
· Gather and remove litter
· Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, pole saws, hedge or brush trimmers, loppers, hand pruners, etc.
· Operate power equipment such as mowers (Push, Walk-behind & Rider), chainsaws, pruning saws, weed eaters, edger's, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, etc.
· Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws
· Spread/spray fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic spreaders
· Manual labor includes pulling weeds, picking up debris, raking, digging holes, using a wheelbarrow, climbing a ladder, etc.
· Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding or trimming, or edging around flower beds, walks, and walls
· Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds
· Plant flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools
· Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edger's
· Rake, mulch, and bag leaves
· Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters, or other ground features
Salary
Dependent upon experience, if the candidate has a driver's license, and bilingualism
