ECS Florida, LLC is Hiring a Building Inspector Near Naples, FL

What You'll Do
  • Perform Inspections of Foundations, Concrete Slabs, Framing, Roofing, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and related construction activity
  • Prepare and submit daily time and Inspection/Field Reports in accordance with ECS Policy
  • Determine if the permitted Design Plans may require revisions and make recommendations to the Contractors, Engineers and/or Architect
  • Detect deviations from the plans, regulationsm and standard construction practices
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Follow ECS safety procedures and policies
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5 years of relevant experience
    • Post-secondary education and experience which totals four (4) years, with one (1) year of such experience in building construction
    • Total combined experience may include experience as a Project Manager, Job Superintendent, Builder, Supervisor, Foreman, and/or Competent mechanic in charge of construction
  • At least one of the following licenses is required for this position:
    • State of Florida Standard Inspector License (BN), State of Florida Plans Examiner License (PX), State of Florida Registered Architect (RA), State of Florida Registered Professional Engineer (PE), State of Florida General Contractor License (GC)
  • Knowledge of the current codes and regulatory standards governing the Florida Building Construction industry
  • If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
