Job Description:

ECS is seeking a System Administrator I to work remote from the Tampa area supporting our cloud-based AI/ML/PAI environment. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description:

ECS Federal, LLC has an opportunity to hire a System Administrator I supporting a mission critical AI/ML/PAI platform.By supporting this program, you will be contributing to the development, implementation, and assessment of new AI/ML/PAI capabilities in support of a wide range of government customers.As a System Administrator you will be responsible for performing daily system support for a wide range of technology stacks integrated into the platform and help integrate new ones. The platform consists of a AWS/Azure hybrid environment. The platform uses several AWS services and COTS solutions to provide AI/ML/PAI capabilities to a wide range of government customers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities include:

  • Perform research and evaluation of software tools, hardware and services, and emerging technologies.
  • Participate and contribute to architectural design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Argos platform.
  • Plan, communicate, test, and perform system maintenance, to include upgrades, security updates, and patching across Windows and Linux workloads.
  • Thoroughly understand the Argos environment from a Tier 2 prospective.
  • Support ticket escalation from the Argos Help Desk and support end-user customers as required.
  • Conduct reviews and validations of system configurations in accordance with applicable guidelines (i.e. customer, DISA STIGS and CIS Benchmarks).
  • Provide technical input for policies and procedures and maintain associated documentation.
  • Research and investigate problems and develop viable solutions; communicate recommendations clearly and effectively to the team.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of servers, network, etc.
  • Adhere to Change/Configuration Management procedures and policies.
  • Help implement new technology stacks into the Argos platform in accordance with the Risk Management Framework.
  • Work with Argos customers in support of onboarding them into the Argos environment.
  • Manage user access, troubleshoot system and server errors, monitor system performance, and ensure system backups are functioning.

Required Skills:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen per contract.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Associates degree in computer science, engineering, or information science or equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Microsoft Active Directory and 0365 implementation and configuration experience.
  • NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework experience.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Positive and enthusiastic.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must be flexible, intuitive and self-motivated.
  • Willing to go the extra mile with a "can do" attitude.
  • Experience with a VDI solution – Citrix, Nutanix, Horizon.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
  • Security Certification is required within 3 months but no longer than 6 months.

Desired Skills:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • ITIL knowledge.
  • Microsoft MCP.
