ECS is seeking a Sr. Net Developer (Top-Secret Cleared) to work in our Washington DC office.

Job Description:

ECS is looking for a Senior .Net Developer to join our team. This person would be responsible for designing, developing, configuring and deploying web applications.

Candidates will be using these technologies on a daily basis: C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Web Services, Workflow, and many other APIs. The candidate should demonstrate excellent technical skills but also be able to talk with customers on a day-to-day basis.

Enhance UI through custom style sheet, JavaScript injection, content editor webparts, custom action and jsLink

Have experience building a farm solution.

Package and deploy solution with PowerShell during Agile Sprint deployment.

Thorough understanding of application development methodologies; comprehensive experience with structuring, developing, and implementing interactive Web sites and applications.

Deep understanding of Web server applications (i.e. IIS) and process flow.

Knowledge of database development, including SQL Server 2008/2012. Experience in analyzing business requirements; ability to understand and adapt to the organization’s goals and objectives.

Required Skills:

• Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirement.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, related field.
• 7 years’ experience and strong understanding of ASP.NET, C#, .NET and Web Services.
• Working knowledge of either Agile, Scrum, Kanban or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience of working in Agile, Lean or Continuous Delivery teams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter and highly motivated.

Desired Skills:

• Current certifications (e.g. MCSD, MCP, etc.).
• Back-end Developer.
• c# and .net more important.
• nice to have front end skills.
• SQL Server.
