Ecore is looking for a new Plant Manager, overseeing all aspects of our Lancaster, PA manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality production, and a safe working environment. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, implement strategic initiatives, and drive continuous improvement efforts to achieve plant goals and objectives.Core Contributions: Safety Culture: Ensure a safe working environment for all employees by enforcing safety policies, conducting regular audits, and promoting awareness of safety protocols. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant standards.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company objectives, including capacity planning, resource allocation, and production scheduling.Operational Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to all plant personnel, including production, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bottlenecks effectively.Cost Management: Monitor manufacturing costs and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production expenses without compromising quality or safety.Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and implement best practices such as Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.Team Development: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development within the manufacturing team. Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to nurture talent and enhance capabilities.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as engineering, sales, marketing, logistics and finance to align manufacturing activities with overall business objectives, support product development initiatives, and meet customer requirements.Technology Integration: Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to improve manufacturing processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce lead times.Culture: Drive organizational culture that adheres to the company’s mission, vision, and values.Essential Experiences: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.5 years of manufacturing plant management experienceStrong track record of high safety, quality, and complianceStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectivesExperience with data analysis and performance metrics to drive decision-making and process optimizationProficiency in lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies. Certified Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Green Black or Green belt desiredExperience with ERP systems, manufacturing software, and technology integration preferredAble to read and understand financial statements and cost reports, prepare budgets, and cost forecasts
