A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a Project Manager, you support job site superintendents and foremen by staying involved in all phases of construction to ensure successful outcomes. You visit field job sites, monitor job progress, and communicate with subcontractors to meet deadlines and stay within the approved budget. Leveraging your organization skills, you maintain an approved list of subcontractors, establish schedules, and compile warranty literature or documents. You also distribute any bulletins, create change orders, assist in plan submittals with city agencies, and manage commencement and closeout.
Working with senior management to track and report job progress, you review construction documents, plans, interior design finishes, shop drawings, and execute RFI's to discover discrepancies and verify details. As an excellent leader, you meet the daily project needs for quality control, safety, and schedule as well as present information to clients and company ownership, as needed. You feel accomplished knowing you keep our business functioning properly and efficiently!
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong MEP knowledge, a bachelor's degree in construction management, or related field experience is a plus! Are you professional in appearance and etiquette? Do you possess excellent communication skills? Can you prioritize tasks in an organized and effective manner? Are you able to handle multiple demands while maintaining a positive attitude? WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time position typically works from Monday to Friday, plus overtime as needed. It is a rare occurrence, but work could be required on a Saturday if needed.
