Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager to join our Places business area; The candidate shall have experience in Project Management from concept through completion for corporate interiors Fit- Out projects. This position is based in New York City location. With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:As a Project Manager, you will ensure that your projects adhere to the client’s requirements and business goals by developing and driving project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating activities within the established project timelines.
You will be responsible for all project phases: planning, design/preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout.Role accountabilities:Responsible for the project throughout the life cycle- schematic design, design drawings, construction drawings, construction & close out phase.
Additional responsibilities include:Ensuring that all appropriate technical standards are applied during the project implementationAble to solve complex problems associated with the management of costs and schedules with the project teamPossess the ability to work independently in difficult and complex tasksDemonstrated ability to clearly articulate and communicateAble to read and interpret general documents, such as project reports, internal and external communicationsThe person also has to be able to work on several projects with different timelinesMust possess ability to format and communicate general correspondence (internal and external) reportsMust possess ability to organize and prioritize workloadCreate and Maintain project schedule & budget, throughout the duration of the build outManage the RFP process for vendors and / or consultants of every projectManaging work to follow state, local, and Federal requirementsProviding timely, accurate, progress reports, cash flow and cost of completion forecastsMaintaining project files, meetings records and correspondence, and project controls informationCoordinating with the internal stakeholder’s landscape.Approving all purchases, procurement, and payments on the projectRequired Qualifications:8 years of experience.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and PMIS systemsBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related fieldKey Skills and attributes:Experience with client facing positions with strong client/stakeholder management Strong written and verbal communication skills that are clear and conciseBe capable of managing multiple, unique assignments simultaneouslyHave strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsBe self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible; have the initiative and ability to tackle new projects and challenges dailyBe health, safety, and quality focused Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. We offer nine paid holidays and We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $103,000 - $154,500.
