Duties

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers

- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area

- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption

- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner

- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar

Requirements

- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role

- Knowledge of Square POS system is preferred

- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Proficient in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Basic math skills for handling cash and calculating drink prices

- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and mixing techniques

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
