The Data Conversion Specialist IV position provides an active and challenging career opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers and providing high quality data solutions.Our team converts data for new implementations, designs custom reports and provides custom analytics for the Building and Construction market. We engage in coordination with customers to ensure they have accurate and complete information from which to run their respective businesses.We also provide data services between vendors and our clients for electronic ordering and data maintenance.This position will be in our Latham, NY office (9 Cornell Road, Latham, NY 12110), or remote for the right person. Job Responsibilities:Convert data for new implementation projects of larger size clients including custom data manipulation.Provide data updates to assist with supporting and maintaining customer databases.Provide customer reporting and analytic dashboards.Enhance, maintain, and test core template conversion routines.Be responsible for high profile complex projects involving acquisitions and corporate merging of systems.Write, debug and maintain data conversion applications and routines.Understand and configure electronic data communications with third parties. Qualities and Skills Required:Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business Administration required.Minimum of 2 years’ experience with business system use and maintenance required.Mid/Advanced-level MS SQL Database knowledge is required.General knowledge of Powershell, Excel and file manipulation tools and techniques.Basic level of mathematical skills required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required for success in this role.Should be able to meet multiple due dates and manage multiple concurrently running projects.Must have the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and have an attention to detail and process.Experience working with a team and the ability to communicate and share knowledge with peers.Understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory Control preferred.Familiarity with automation tools and techniquesPossess a desire to improve the team’s processes and provide quality control.#LI-CV1
