ECHO Realty is Hiring an Accounting Associate Near Pittsburgh, PA

Job DescriptionECHO Realty is seeking to hire an Accounting Associate who will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day and monthly financial accounting and tasks for assigned properties.
Contributions you will make to the team:
  • Models ECHO’s core values (The ECHO Way) and exhibits exemplary leadership.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports – prepare journal entries, balance sheet and income statement preparation, variance analysis and bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash receipts, review and bill tenant recurring and reimbursable charges and billing adjustments and perform tenant ledger reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely collections of tenants Accounts Receivable.
  • Review invoice coding and approvals to ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Prepare monthly mortgage and ground rent vouchers in accordance with amortization schedules and loan statements. Review ROU assets for accuracy.
  • Develop an understanding for CAM reconciliations and learn the process.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation.
  • Maintain/update Fixed Asset records in accordance with ECHO’s Capitalization Policy.
  • Review Management Fees and monthly rental billings.
  • Recommend enhancements to accounting systems and internal controls.
Requirements you’ll need to be successful:
  • Bachelor’s Degree(B.S./B.A.) in Accounting or Finance from a 4 year college or university.
