Seeking a success-driven Assistant Accounting Manager that will provide coverage for key accounting functions and assist with miscellaneous projects:

Duties May Include:

· Maintain, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts and activities ensuring each account has proper documentation and complies with GAAP

· Variance analysis, control and costing.

· Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes

· Contribute to the year-end audit process.

· Aid accounting staff and department with day-to-day accounting duties

· Backup for senior accountants

· Will train with Accounting Manager plus have opportunity for advancement

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited program

· Minimum 2 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment

· Inventory Experience is preferred

· Intermediate Excel skills

· Accounts Receivable / Payables

· Microsoft Dynamic GP experience helpful but not required

· Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and have strong attention to detail

· Must be able to problem solve, identify discrepancies and make recommendations.

· Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills

· Self-Driven, Organized, Analytical Minded, Fast-Leaner

· Previous experience in management helpful but not required
