Experience Fire Alarm Technician
ECD Systems LLC is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician. to join our dynamic installation team.
Ideal candidate:

  • Familiar with Notifier Fire Alarms
  • Have a passion for learning.
  • Good daily attendance
  • Provide a positive attitude towards the organization, its employees and customers.
  • Desire to learn and grow in the trade.
Responsibilities:
  • Work under the direct supervision of Project Manager As On-Site Representative
  • Communicate directly with Project Manager to develop and maintain job plans.
  • Provide Input of daily logs, safety Events, change events, progress, delays, etc.
  • Manage job tasks as required to deliver job on schedule.
  • Perform QA/QC of systems installation as jobs progress.
  • Coordinate cabling, equipment installation, hookup, programming, final
  • Perform system programming, networking, interfacing, testing, & troubleshooting as required.
  • Work with other trades for verifying systems interface & functionality requirements are met.
  • Communicate with vendor tech-support for issue resolution in a prompt time frame.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2 plus years working on FA systems. Notifier FA systems is a plus.
  • Possess working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) with regard to the Fire safety industry.
  • Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
  • Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 12 months.
  • Able to distinguish color codes.
  • Must be able to create detailed reports and professional documentation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check & drug test
  • Valid Arizona Driver's license with a good driving record
  • Obtain OSHA certification within 90 days of employment (company paid)
