Construction Project Manager—ECAA
The Ethiopian Community Association in Atlanta (ECAA) established in 1983, is a non-for-profit community-based organization providing broad range of social services to underserved and/or low-income individuals around Metro Atlanta Area. ECAA’s primary target population are those individuals from immigrant and refugee communities with limited English proficiency from Ethiopia and neighboring countries.
Position Summary:
ECAA seeks to hire a part time Project Manager to oversee an Alteration and Renovation project.
· Project Manager will manage an alteration and renovation project and other tasks and ensure that all deadlines are met.
· Project Manager will also take the lead on projects, delegating tasks, and managing the productivity of the construction team.
· Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest standard.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage and coordinate multiple projects pertaining to the Alteration and Renovation of ECAA building.
· Obtain and document all necessary regulations and permits.
· Ensure that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.
· Order necessary supplies, tools, and equipment.
· Make sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
· Maintain regular communications with contractors to address concerns and provide status update.
· Manage construction manager and oversee their work.
· Develop and adhere to the budget, timeline, and quality control.
· Provide regular status reports to ECAA Management including details of progress and budget.
· Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
· 2-5 years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager preferred.
· Ability to manage and bring to completion multiple projects simultaneously.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
· Knowledge of grant management including reporting.
· Ability to interact with constructors.
· Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
