Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, needs, and budget constraints
- Create and present design concepts and proposals to clients
- Develop detailed plans, including floor plans, elevations, and renderings
- Select and source materials, furniture, fixtures, and accessories for each project
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee the installation and implementation of design elements
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the design process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Proven experience in interior design or a similar role
- Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong knowledge of color theory and its application in design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as 3ds Max
- Experience in lighting design and lighting sales is a plus
