Overview
We are looking for a Resident Activities Coordinator to join our team! The position involves coordinating and working with the resident leaders and volunteers in the Resident Activities Committee (RAC) to provide support, counsel, leadership, and structure to their tasks and events. This active living schedule includes;
- 64 hours every two weeks
- Full time, day shift
- No weekends!

Responsibilities/Job Description
- Serves as a staff advisor to the Resident Activities Committee (RAC) and the various sub-committees
- Acts as resource to the committees by providing information about programs/resources available within the community
- Recruits, trains, and coordinates resident volunteers, including annual resident leadership training
- Documents the monthly RAC meeting information and prepares and distributes minutes. Reviews the sub-committee meeting minutes at meetings and/or as needed
- Organizes and creates publicity for resident activities
- Works with staff on projects as determined by the Property Manager
- Manages monthly newsletter creation, printing, and distribution
- Manages the CCTV system – scheduling live broadcasts, recordings, and playbacks
Qualifications
Required:
- One to three years of previous experience
Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phone, fax
machines, DVD, CD players
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree
Working knowledge of graphic software, including Photoshop, photo applications and
publisher or other similar programs
