We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities . Your role will involve helping them with daily activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their independence

Duties:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

-Medications Reminderand management according to care plans and document any changes or concerns -

Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times

- Assist with meal planning and preparation- ensuring dietary needs are met.

- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings.

- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and any observations or incidents - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect the privacy and confidentiality of individuals

Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Experience in patient care, preferably working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism

- Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively

- Proficiency in medication management and documentation

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality

- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities

- Knowledge of lifting techniques and ability to assist with transfers or mobility needs

- Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ability to provide support as needed
