Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, performs complex orders and installations of CMP units at various site locations or service center. Looking for a road warrior because this position is part of a team that travels up to 50% of the time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs installation and testing of all circuits, equipment, and components to ensure proper configuration and operation.
- Troubleshoots system problems as needed during installation and qualification period.
- Interfaces with client at client site. Performs all functions to meet customer and company specifications and to client satisfaction.
- Monitors overall systems, performance, circuit utilization, cost reduction initiatives, and service improvement opportunities.
- Perform field service job functions during down time. Assist other groups within the company as needed.
Qualifications
Education
- High School, Associate in Electronics or completion of accredited basic electronics program, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Two (2) to Six (6) years of work related experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Working knowledge of mechanical skills. Working knowledge of principles of semiconductor technology.
- Military and/or mechanical background desired.
- Strong Customer Relations skills.
