Eaton is Hiring a Machine Operator II- 3rd Shift Near Reno, NV
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II- 3rd Shift.
Shift Hours: 10:00pm to 6:30am Monday - Friday.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.25 per hour.

What you’ll do:
- Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
- Troubleshoot various machinery problems
- Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
- QC and document all parts run on machines
- Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
- Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
- No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Reno, NV. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- More than 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines
- More than 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints
- Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
- Able to operate machinery and presses safely
- Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
- Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
- Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
- Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision
