POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking an individual who is a skilled painter with experience in carpentry and drywall repair. This candidate must have previous hotel engineering experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, etc.
• Measure and cut drywall to fit into specific areas such as windows, doors, and electrical outlets
• Carry out preventative maintenance and complete work orders, such as replacing light bulbs, patching vinyl or wallpaper, as well as carpentry related duties to maintain the property in excellent condition.
• Assist in checking electrical systems, such as air conditioning controls, lighting systems, and television sets, and making minor repairs or replacements
• Ensure the overall maintenance of the property
• Maintain the "curb appeal" and build exterior to include seasonal duties such as snow and ice removal.
• Perform any other job-related duties
