You’ll have experience in billing for Medicaid using HHAExhange and Tellus systems. You will be able to use other billing and payroll management systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

Your job responsibilities would include:

• Pull remittances from Availity, Payspan, Optum, IHCS portal, and post payments in ClearCare

• Run private pay AR report weekly and follow up on outstanding private pay accounts

• Post check payments received in ClearCare

• Medicaid billing on twice per week (Mon, Thurs)

• Enter the monthly invoices in QuickBooks from Medicaid payers

• Private billing every other week

• Categorize/classify credit card transactions for Lyft and Staples in Quickbooks

• Fax Long Term Care insurance invoices/care logs for a private pay billing cycle
• Facility Staffing billing in accordance with private pay cycle

• Review request from Office Supply Request form on the drive and other requests for supplies from the team

• Billing AAAPP monthly by the 5th of the month - submit invoices via fax with all completed/signed care logs

• Clear tasks in HHA Exchange following Medicaid billing

• Submit claims via Tellus the day following Medicaid billing

• Enroll pay cards to new associates via ADP SmartCompliance

• Create monthly AR report and work Medicaid claims, resubmission, denials, appeals

• Enter new Medicaid prospects in ClearCare upon acceptance of referral - save authorization in Google Drive, email to manager/marketer

• Run Expiring Authorizations report at the beginning of the month and follow up throughout the month with payers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.34 - $21.63 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
