The Software Solutions Coordinator at Easy Automation Inc. plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients, sales, and our development teams. This position involves working closely with clients to understand their unique business requirements, coordinating with our development teams to implement tailored software solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of the agriculture business. As part of this job, the candidate will have multiple responsibilities including but not limited to:
1. Client / Sales Engagement:
Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and ensure our software solutions align with their objectives.
Provide software demos as necessary.
Collaborate with clients to gather and document software requirements.
Conduct needs assessments and provide consultative support to clients during the project lifecycle.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and present proposals and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.
2. Third Party Integration Liaison
Collaborate with third-party software vendors / partners to build relationships and trust.
Facilitate integration discussions.
Work with the clients and the development team to determine integration functional specifications.
3. Project Coordination:
Liaise between clients and the development teams to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives.
Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Facilitate collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to ensure system solutions meet or exceed their expectations.
Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise during development.
4. Quality Assurance:
Facilitate or conduct thorough testing and validation of software solutions to ensure they meet client specifications.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify and address any bugs or issues.
5. Documentation:
Prepare and maintain detailed quotes, project documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
Document client feedback and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Assist in writing up custom Statements of Work (SOW) for projects requiring unique or specialized development.
6. Training and Support:
Provide training sessions to clients on new software solutions.
Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to clients as needed.
Qualifications:
Extensive understanding of the agricultural industry and the software/processes that support it.
Proven experience in a similar role, focusing on software solutions coordination.
Strong understanding of software development processes and project management methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Travel Expectations:
10 - 20 overnight trips per year Travel bonus will be included with this expectation.
