Easy Automation Inc. is currently seeking to add an additional Customer Service Software Support Technician to our team. The individual will work closely with EAI customers to prep, install, and train them on our various software platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot customer problems over the phone, during normal business hours, as well as provide after-hours phone support as assigned.

• Prepare for customer visits (both in person and remote) to install and train customers on their new software solution.

• Work with our internal team to manage and develop custom software solutions for our customers.

• Additional duties and roles as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills and organizational skills.

• Basic information technology (IT) skills.

• Light booking/accounting knowledge.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.

• Knowledge of the feed mill and/or swine industry is preferred, but not required.

• Professional presence and foster an attitude that is positive and open to new ideas.

• Follow and exhibit the qualities of each of our core values: Empathy, Approachability, Integrity, and Perseverance.

• A valid U.S. driver's license and passport (or be able to obtain one).

• Must be able to travel to Canada.

• Must be able to tolerate dusty work environments.

• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds unassisted and sit, stand, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, or squat several times a day.

This position will require travel (about 5-15%) to customer sites to install the project (working hours and schedule may vary when traveling) and has the potential to be based out of the Welcome, Mankato, or Chanhassen offices, with the opportunity to work remotely or on a hybrid work model, after a given training period.
