As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of driving digital evolution and ensuring data excellence. Collaborating closely with IT Managers, Enterprise Business Intelligence, Data Governance, and Data Science teams, you will tackle business-critical data challenges. This role offers a unique opportunity to act as a Data Advisory member for Actuarial, BI, Data Science, and Data Engineering teams, contributing to Enterprise Data Architecture. Responsibilities:

• Build robust data solutions for enterprise-wide digital initiatives, emphasizing data integrity and usability.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and solutions, utilizing traditional and cloud platforms (AWS or similar).
• Analyze complex data elements and systems, developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Design, support, and peer-review data models and schemas for new and existing data sources in the data warehouse.
• Conduct tests on data sources, ensuring data accuracy against source systems and optimizing performance.
• Build infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading using 'big data' technologies and tools.
• Lead data initiatives, ensuring pipelines are reliable, efficient, testable, and maintainable.
• Proactively analyze the current data environment to identify deficiencies, gaps, and opportunities.
• Drive improvements in engineering team processes through data architecture, engineering, and operational excellence best practices.
• Collaborate in implementing components of the data strategy, such as Master Data Management (MDM) and data virtualization.
