Eastridge is Hiring a SQL Developer Near Las Vegas, NV

Eastridge Workforce Solutions, a leader in workforce management, is seeking an experienced Developer to join our clients' team, a well-established healthcare fund management company. The developer will serve a client that supports over 190,000 workers and their families within the hospitality and gaming industry across the nation. The main responsibilities include responding to user issues regarding application software, databases, screens, or reports, thoroughly investigating problems, and implementing solutions. The position offers flexible core hours from 7 AM to 7 PM. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

  • Designs and develops SQL procedures & functions (SQL Server & Oracle – PL/SQL) Maintains and enhances SQL-based applications
  • Designs and develops associated Power BI reports
  • Tests above applications and reports, creating any test data necessary
  • Prepares completed applications and reports for turnover to users or Operations staff
  • Research in-house program and system problems, finds or creates appropriate solutions
  • Contacts vendors to resolve problems with 3rd party software
  • Maintains documentation of all development activities
  • Interfaces with users and management regarding requirements, testing, and implementation
  • Attends technical training to keep skills and knowledge up to date
  • Sets goals and achieves measurable results
  • Contributes ideas to achieve department goals

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  •  2 ~ 3 years of direct experience minimum
  • Must be proficient in SQL, PL/SQL Oracle, SQL Server, and Power BI
  • Experience with Visual Studio (VB or C#), Crystal and SSRS Reports, TFS, DevOps
  • Knowledge of Healthcare EDI transactions (837, 835, etc.) is beneficial
  • Conceptual understanding of healthcare benefit administration
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills
  • 10% ~ 15% travel

Salary range for this position: $81,400 - $101,700 Salary. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday~Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) with potential for hybrid work-from-home arrangement.
