We are urgently hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our clients' team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality move-in experience for our residents by preparing make-ready apartments, responding to maintenance requests promptly, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our properties. This position requires a strong knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and grounds keeping. For immediate consideration, apply today.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Prepare make-ready apartments by performing tasks such as painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping duties.
  • Respond to resident requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain knowledge of maintenance functions including plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and grounds keeping.
  • Keep grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities clean, operational, and safe for residents.
  • Be available for on-call scheduling to respond to after-hours emergencies.
  • Report maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
  • Attend and participate in training programs as required.
  • Deliver superior customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and safeguard company tools and equipment.
  • Maintain high productivity through reliable and punctual on-site attendance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
