Eastridge is proudly partnering with a non-profit organization in the search for a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of their camp facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and attractive environment for their residents and staff. This hands-on role is crucial in maintaining the physical plant and supporting systems such as mechanical, electrical, sewage, and water systems. As a leader in the organization, you will ensure that their facilities meet high standards of safety and functionality, aligning with their commitment to serving individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Safety: Supervise and execute the maintenance of camp facilities including cabins, lodge dining hall, kitchen, recreation room, infirmary, staff housing, and more. Ensure all areas are safe, clean, and attractive.
• Systems Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, sewage, and water systems to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently.
• Security Oversight: Manage the security of the campsite, prioritizing the physical safety of all residents and staff.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with US Forest Service, San Bernardino County Environmental Health Department, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
• Grounds Maintenance: Supervise and perform tasks related to grounds maintenance, including brush clearance, tree maintenance, lawn care, and ensuring the proper functioning of sprinkler systems and pest control measures.
• Facility Inspections and Repairs: Regularly inspect facilities to identify problems and determine cost-effective solutions. Supervise and perform preventive maintenance on all essential systems.
• Team Leadership: Work collaboratively with the Director of Facilities and Camp Director to manage maintenance schedules and priorities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance management, preferably in a camp setting or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience in ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and disability regulations.
• Ability to perform both supervisory and hands-on maintenance tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
