Job Description:

The Social Worker performs a full range of clinical services related to the care and treatment of adult psychiatric patients as defined by the scope of practice. Provides ongoing treatment to caseload of up to 15 patients utilizing a variety of skilled therapeutic techniques. Provides psychiatric social services to patients and their families in cases where specific problems related to environmental and/or psychological aspects influence the effective utilization of inpatient or outpatient treatment. Completes discharge planning for all patients. Performs related functions as required.

Job Requirements:

Masters in Social Work (MSW) required. Certified Social Worker (CSW) required; LCSW Supervision Provided at no cost. No experience needed.

The employee shall become familiar with HIPAA regulations and do their utmost to protect all protected health information (PHI) and other personal or sensitive information within their trust in the course of state business by applying appropriate safeguards and sharing only the information required to deliver agency services. Any personal or sensitive information overheard or seen by the employee will be kept confidential by not sharing it with others, on or off the work-site grounds. Fully participate in all activities regarding the elimination of the use of seclusion and restraints in patient care including educational requirements, competency development activities, and meeting established performance goals and measures. Must have computer competency in approved systems. Must have excellent customer service skills.

Pay: $48,360.00 - $81,328.00 per year
