PURPOSE
The Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Group Facilitator is responsible for delivering drug/alcohol recovery-based group programming services to the resident population of the Eastern Ohio Correction Center. The specific program/curricular delivered will vary depending upon the Group Facilitator’s placement within the continuum of programming services.
EDUCATION & ABILITIES
The AOD Group Facilitator must meet the following minimum educational and experience requirements:
i) A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate field of study (Behavioral Science, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, etc.)
ii) A valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
iii) Demonstrated proficiency in providing group programming related to drug and alcohol treatment.
iv) Demonstrated leadership and commitment to the mission and core values of the Eastern Ohio Correction Center in the course of their duties.
OR
i) An Associate’s degree with any combination of work-related experience, training, or college credits demonstrated at a level of achievement to a bachelor’s degree.
ii) A valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
iii) Demonstrated proficiency in providing group programming.
iv) Demonstrated leadership and commitment to the mission and core values of the Eastern Ohio Correction Center in the course of their duties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 per hour
