Start Date: ASAP, but willing to wait for the right fit
Hours: Guaranteed 40 Hours/Week

• The schedule is variable, most likely 8 AM- 4/5 PM
• The schedule will include occasional evenings and weekends for date night coverage; the Nanny will know the schedule a month in advance.

Hourly Rate: $28-45/Hour DOE, which equates to an annualized base compensation in the $58-93k/year range. The family may be open to a higher compensation package commensurate with experience. The family is open to offering a healthcare stipend and relocation assistance for the right fit (live-out).
Kids: 3-year-old and 6-month-old
Pets: Two Large Dogs
Paid Vacation: One week paid vacation nanny's choice, one week paid vacation family's choice, three sick/personal days, and all holidays; flexibility to negotiate additional PTO in the future
Responsibilities and Duties
WHO/WHAT: One of our sweet return families is searching for their own version of Mary Poppins, able to fill the role for AT LEAST the next two years. This precious family of four would love to expand their numbers in the near future and is hoping for a kind, loving, and energetic team player who can expertly handle a zooming toddler and a new baby! While Dad works mostly from home in a private basement office, Mom will be in and out running errands, completing projects, and managing the household alongside the nanny. She is hoping for someone who can seamlessly handle an infant and toddler solo but is happy to jump in and help as needed. This job will be a mix of collaborating with parents while also taking charge and using your extensive knowledge and experience to handle each day on your own with ease. Their darling 3-year-old is a typical toddler with spunky energy, big emotions, and a zest for anything dinos, diggers, animals, and bugs! He participates in a once-weekly music class as well as swim classes, and they are open to the nanny coming up with additional outings and activities. That being said, they're hoping to balance outings with days at home in one of their many playrooms, indoor movie theater, large backyard, or in-ground pool! Next fall, the family is hoping to enroll him in some form of half-day PreK. The littlest brother is a typical, joyous baby, who is just happy to be held and do whatever his big bro is doing! You'll help with feedings, keeping him on a nap schedule, and incorporating age-appropriate play. This family would love a nanny who realizes that their role within their home is to care for and love their boys with their whole heart, taking each day at a time and enjoying all the little things together. This family would also appreciate help with the kid's laundry and maintaining their home with simple household tasks like tossing dishes in the dishwasher, vacuuming/sweeping, basic meal prep care for kids, and letting their two dogs out into the yard and feeding them. You must have a safe vehicle and clean driving record for activities and outings. Flexibility and communication will be top-priority in this role; while both parents will do their best to share their schedule needs ahead of time, a nanny who is fluid and easygoing to adapt to changes would work best here. Mom and Dad are social butterflies and enjoy being able to frequent local concerts, Steeler games, or just a night out, so occasional date night/weekend availability is important. This family must also have a nanny who is willing to travel (flying private) with them for planned-in-advance trips and vacations as they frequent locations such as Florida, Nashville, and Seven Springs. They will happily compensate for all aspects of each trip.
The Ideal Nanny An experienced career nanny, an energetic team player, and a trustworthy ally, you have had years working for professional families and are in pursuit of your next long-term family. Toddlers are your cup of tea, and you've worked with numerous infant-toddler combos in the past. You are social and personable, and are able to celebrate your working family's accomplishments, joys, and success with them. You have the travel bug, are a frequent flier, and have a valid passport ready to go. You're reliable, helpful, and flexible, able to give your all to your employers while pursuing the best interests of their precious kids. You're able to spot what needs to be done around the house, using your time wisely during the day to help wash some dishes, switch up the laundry, wipe down the counters, etc. Both parents look forward to a fantastic working relationship with their nanny, allowing him/her into their home and hearts with abandon! They would love to welcome their nanny for many years to come, living, learning, and adapting together as the years change and they (hopefully) add more children to their crew. There's even potential for this position to evolve into a household manager/family assistant role as the kids grow older. We believe that the nanny working for this family will truly enjoy and thrive together with them and will experience the rewards that a fulfilling nanny career can provide!
