Job Summary *Overnight Nanny Position* Pittsburgh, PA Treesdale / Mars Start Date : mid-July for the next four months Hours : Sunday to Thursday evening, 8-9 hour shifts, similar to 11 pm - 7 am;

And although they can’t stop smiling about their beautiful little miracle daughter, they also need some shut-eye. So if you’re a mature, highly experienced infant care specialist who’s eager to share your baby-smarts then we want to meet you ASAP! In a role that’s expected to last for 4-6 months, you’ll work evenings from Sunday to Thursday.

The family is flexible on hours, but your shift will ideally be between 10 pm and 11 pm until 7 am the following morning.

Mom travels a lot and Dad works from home (but won’t get in your way). There’s a housekeeper who’ll tend to the majority of the cleaning and household management tasks, and the family is in the process of hiring a daytime nanny who will relieve you after your shift.

You’ll arrive alert and ready to hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide baby girl to and from dreamland. But what these novice parents really, really want is to also learn from someone with your vast overnight infant care knowledge.

While the newborn sleeps, you’ll help with light tasks you can complete nearby like folding the baby’s laundry, washing bottles, restocking the nursery supplies, and general tidying up.

There are two dogs, but they are kept away from the baby and won’t need any pet care overnight. You must have your CPR and first aid updated.

HUGE bonus points if you have a Newborn Care Specialist certification or any other official infant or sleep training. We have temporary overnight nannies placed with this family, and everyone LOVES working with them.
