Job Summary

• Pittsburgh, PA | Upper St. Clair

• Start Date: ASAP

• Hours: Guaranteed 45 Hours, Monday- Friday 8 AM - 6 PM

• Hourly Rate: $28-$30/Hour

• Two Babies: Twin 1-Year-Olds 

• Pets: None

• COVID Shots & Flu Shot Preferred

• Paid Vacation: One week paid vacation nanny’s choice, one week paid vacation family’s choice, three sick/personal days, and all holidays 

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Bustling and lively this fantastic family has returned home to Pittsburgh after living away for years! Mom was born and raised in the Steel City and after having her incredible 4 kids has decided together with Dad that the place to be is here. Let’s get them some professional, loving, and kind nanny care for the next 2-4 years! While this family has a total of 4 incredible kids (Ages 5, 3, and twins, 1), the nanny’s primary responsibility will be for the twins. Mom and Dad expect that the nanny has a flourishing relationship with all four of their children as there will be occasions where the older siblings need to be kept an eye on as well. These two precious babies–one boy, one girl–thrive on a schedule and would benefit most from a nanny who would waltz into their beautiful home, confident in her skill, kind in her demeanor, and showing love above all. The nanny will seamlessly enter their day-to-day, maintaining their routine, food prep, and naps. A nanny who is knowledgeable in infant milestones and growth would be ideal, introducing new concepts, foods, and keeping an eye out for new developments and accomplishments. The twins are working together to crawl, exploring their surroundings, trying new foods, and will learn about their new city via their extended family and their new nanny. In the future, the nanny will be welcome to venture out on walks, get outside in the fresh air, and encourage socialization. The nanny should be energetic and active, able to keep up…let’s be real, ahead of– two almost-toddlers! Given that this family of six keep things busy and active, a nanny who takes the initiative and is proactive not only with childcare but also on simple household tasks is a must. Some examples would be keeping the kitchen tidy and wiped down, bottles sanitized and washed, dishwasher loaded and emptied, vacuuming, sweeping, switching out the laundry, and play areas straightened. Both Mom and Dad work long hours on demanding jobs and would be grateful to come home to a neat house. This family will be an exemplary employer–treating their nanny as a cherished and beloved part of their unit and hoping for the same love and trust from their nanny. 

The Ideal Nanny would be...An experienced career nanny, an energetic team player, and a trustworthy ally, you have had years working for professional families and are in pursuit of your next long-term family. You can easily spot and celebrate those all-important infant milestones, sharing any new accomplishments with Mom and Dad. You are organized and efficient, kind and nurturing. You’ll foster a relationship with the two older kiddos, offering a smile and help as needed. You’re able to spot what needs to be done around the house, using your time wisely while the twins sleep to tidy up, wash some dishes, switch up the laundry, wipe down the counters, etc. Both parents look forward to a fantastic working relationship with their nanny, allowing her into their home and hearts with abandon! The nanny should also exemplify integrity, goodness, and love above all, pursuing a position for the next 2-4 years.

Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
