Collaboration
Reporting directly to the Senior Controller and indirectly to the Vice President Accounting This role will be an integral part of a concentrated accounting team in Avon, Colorado. You will collaborate closely with members of various teams.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable for operating entities and real estate development projects which includes verifying transaction information, obtaining W9 information, authorization of payment, and reconciling vendor statements.
• Process accounts receivable invoices for operating entities (with focus on East West Partners, LLC) including support documentation with invoices.
• Deposit and process accounts receivable payments for operating entities.

• Prepare journal entries and monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Prepare 1099’s at year-end.
• Assist with Treasury Management: deposits, wires, bank transfers, bank reconciliations and new accounts.
• Record sales and cost of sales for East West Realty, LLC.
• Review trial balance for designated entities.

Necessary Knowledge and Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent people skills; able to engage with teammates, vendors, and banks
• Strong organizational and planning skills; able to analyze, problem-solve, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Accounting software (NetSuite/ Microsoft SL preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (with two years experience) or five years’ experience in accounting
• A high level of personal integrity; practices and able to apply consideration and professionalism both internally and externally
• A self-starter attitude with an ability to work in an office environment with minimal guidance and direction, take initiative and be proactive
