East Side Pet Ranch is looking to hire a new weekend groomer. We are a daycare, boarding, grooming facility in East Austin, just minutes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and the Mueller development.

We are looking for a weekend groomer (Saturday-Monday). Our weekend baths/grooms are usually boarding dogs who are already here. With a few grooms being walk ins. We have a brand new grooming room with all the essentials. All you need to bring is your tools. We pay 50% commissions on all pets plus tips. We are fairly new grooming facility but have an established clientele of loyal happy fur parents. We are growing everyday and would love someone to grow with us!

As a Groomer your responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for knowing all breed standards and being able to perform the accompanying grooming style
• Be able to work well as a team and be self-motivated
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Available to work holidays and weekends

• Communicate with clients and provide the services they need for their pets.

• Maintain a clean environment

• Groom 4-6 dogs in a typical grooming day

• Be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Skills and Work experience

• Grooming experience is required. Minimum of 2 years experience. (Training is possible for the position if you have under 2 years experience)

• Skilled in grooming all breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs

• Must be proactive, a team player, have good customer service skills, an upbeat personality, and organizational skills.

• Must be able to interact with pets in a calm fashion.

• Show passionate and integrity in what you do

• Attention to detail

All applicants will be required to show a portfolio of their work. And a mandatory evaluation groom will be needed before hire

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
