East Michigan Surgery Center is seeking a Nursing Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have perioperative, infection control, quality assurance and management experience. Positive work attitude and drive for excellence is a must. Great work environment with no nights, weekends, or on-call.

Main Duties:

The Nursing Director is responsible for day-to-day operations of the center. They will need to have above average communication skills both written and verbal. Responsibilities include staff education and orientation, implementation and development or policy and procedures, maintaining a strong understanding of regulatory changes and able to meet state, local, and accrediting-body rules and requirements, oversees quality program, benchmarking activities, and infection control program. Additionally, the director will be responsible for maintaining proper staffing levels, materials management, facility/environmental/equipment management and will ensure safe and welcoming patient care.

Requirements:

Unrestricted Michigan RN license

ACLS/BLS certification

Preferred:

1-3 yrs. Management experience

1-3 yrs. ASC experience
