    Program Leader – Equity Team Leader
    Responsibilities
    The main objectives of the Equity Team Leader are to:
    • facilitate students and teachers in discussions of race and equity in the EHHS community
    • guide both groups in actions toward implementing change that allows the EHHS community to be a more equitable environment
      The position will:
    • Advise the “Student Equity Advisory Team”: a club of students who voice their concerns and ideas on how to make EHHS a more equitable school for all students. This club will meet after school biweekly.
    • Lead the “Staff Equity Team”: a group of teachers who listen to the ideas of the SEAT and propose changes to the administration in terms of policies and practices that would create a more equitable environment for staff and students. This team will meet after school monthly.
    • Assist in developing and leading Professional Development for EHHS staff
    • Participate on the District Equity Committee
    • Meet monthly with administrators to bring ideas from both student and staff teams
      Stipend: EHEA B-1
    • The actions of this employee in relation to this position are completed beyond the regular teacher work day.
    • During the course of the school year the above responsibilities will be reviewed and are subject to change.
