Duties:Accurately diagnose district vehicular equipment failures and determine repair proceduresPerform repairs and maintain repair paperwork efficiently and in line with standards to ensure equipment is available, reliable and safe to operateRepair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipmentEstablishes an efficient and effective system and record keeping of basic maintenance and preventative care (including but not limited to changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires)Test drive vehicles to ensure that they are running properlyAdhere to all safety and regulatory standards (EPA, OSHA, DOT) and maintain a clean work environmentReport safety concerns and any changes in vehicle appearance or condition to management promptlyMaintains a current written inventory of supplies and equipmentRecommends the replacement of equipment necessary to ensure fleet effectivenessResponds to transportation emergencies as needed (be on call for weekends and evenings)Performs other specific job related duties as directed by supervisorWork with Annual Bus InspectionsJob Goal: To keep the district’s vehicles in such a state of operating excellence that they present no interruptions to the educational program.If interested, email Jamie Rominger (Jamie.Rominger@eguernsey.k12.oh.us), Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, your resume.
