East Franklin Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near Franklin, TN

Join our team at a brand-new dental office in Franklin, TN, where we are seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Receptionist. Our office will be opening in late March 2024 and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

offering a consistent and balanced work schedule. This role is perfect for individuals who are not only passionate about customer service but also eager to learn, as we provide comprehensive training in various dental office procedures and operations.

```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Schedule and confirm appointments using Open Dental
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Maintain patient records and update medical information in electronic medical records
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Assist with front desk duties such as filing, faxing, and organizing paperwork
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality

```Experience```
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus
- Proficiency in using dental software systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
