East Florida Eye Institute, a leading ophthalmic practice since 1989, is on the lookout for a positive, motivated, and energetic Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Stuart location. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside dedicated colleagues and exceptional doctors, contributing to our mission of providing the latest and most advanced ocular treatments and techniques to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about our services.
  • Dictation & Records: Accurately transcribe doctor’s dictations and maintain organized, confidential medical records.
  • Appointment Coordination: Assist in scheduling appointments to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Chart Preparation: Prepare and file patient charts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a medical or ophthalmic setting is essential, with a strong ability to manage front desk responsibilities.
  • Software Skills: Knowledge of AdvancedMD is preferred, but not mandatory. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective patient and team interactions.
