Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team. As a Concrete Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a concrete mixer trust, ensuring prompt delivery of concrete to job sites and once at the job site, you will be discharging concrete where directed by customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires a Class A or Class B commercial driver license with Tank Endorsement, attention to detail, customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Drive concrete mixer truck on public roadways and maintain concrete mixer truck in good working order

- Load and unload concrete into the mixer from the concrete batch plant

- Logging hours on the road and performing pre trip inspections on the mixer truck

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

- Perform routine maintenance on concrete mixer truck to ensure proper functioning

- Discharge concrete from mixer truck at job sites pursuant to customer's requests

Requirements:

- Class A or Class B license with Tanker Endorsment

- Current Medical Card

- Commercial driving experience is preferred

-Concrete mixer truck driving experience is preferred but not required.

- Familiarity with concrete pumping systems is a plus

- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting concrete mixer truck issues and performing pre trip inspections

- Knowledge of and ability to follow California laws and vehicle codes on public roadways

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials

- Will occasionally collect payment from customers and turn in payment once the job is complete.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
