Project Manager - Electrical

This individual will be responsible for preplanning and managing projects. This is a full-time position. Although the main headquarters is located in Marion, Indiana we are willing to make arrangements for the right candidate if they live outside of the greater Marion area.

Primary Duties:

• Maintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI and contingency logs.
• Work with Field Superintendent to ensure labor plan is being carried out.
• Consistently submit accurate, timely and complete estimates and change order quotations.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
• Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical
• Experience in monitoring labor performance for purpose of identification of labor productivity and tracking progress.
• Knowledge in generating construction schedule and updating as needed. (MS Project).
• Knowledge in reading plans and specifications for purpose of ordering material and estimating change orders.
• Ability to order, track and expedite for timely delivery of MEP and specialty items required for the project.
• Knowledge and experience in managing multi-disciplined projects.
• Proven experience estimating their own projects a plus but not required.
• Travel - approximately 50% of the time

Education: High School Diploma or GED with preferred vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship beyond high school.

Experience: 3-5 years experience with commercial electrical projects required.

Licenses, Certifications or Registrations: Employee must have valid driver’s license if operating a company vehicle or their own vehicle for work purposes.
