Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily tasks and activities for individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities
- Provide patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with personal hygiene
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Assist with driving individuals to activities and community events
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
Skills:
- Experience working with people with developmental/intellectual disabilities
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as transferring individuals or assisting with mobility
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassion, patience, and empathy when working with individuals who may have complex needs
-CPR/First Aide Certification is a plus but can be provided if necessary
-High School Diploma or equivalent required.
-Flexibility to work different tasks as needed.
