Job Overview: As a Landscape Architect at Earth Source, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in designing sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. You will collaborate with clients and interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that harmonize development objectives with environmental conservation. Our designs focus on, but are not limited to, ecological restoration, stream bank stabilization utilizing soil bio-engineering techniques, park and recreation design, commercial and residential landscape design, stormwater management utilizing green infrastructure techniques, site planning, native landscape design and restoration, erosion and sediment control, and permitting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Conceptualize and develop landscape designs that integrate environmental conservation principles with client requirements.
  • Project Management: Lead projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their vision, goals, and constraints, and translate them into actionable design plans.
  • Environmental Analysis: Conduct site assessments and environmental impact studies to identify opportunities and constraints for development projects.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to landscape architecture and environmental conservation.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, planners, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives effectively.
  • Innovation and Research: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in landscape architecture and environmental design.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
  • Professional licensure (or in progress) as a Landscape Architect.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in landscape architecture and/or environmental consulting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of environmental principles, conservation practices, and sustainable design strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and graphic explanation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively given short-term or long-term deadlines
