Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct wetland delineations and assessments according to regulatory guidelines
  • Prepare wetland permitting applications and regulatory compliance documents
  • Manage wetland restoration and mitigation projects
  • Monitor wetland sites for compliance and effectiveness of restoration efforts
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate wetland considerations into land development projects
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on wetland regulations and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Botany, Hydrology, Soil Science, Environmental Policy, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in wetland delineation, plant identification, permitting, and project management
  • Strong understanding of wetland regulations and permitting processes
  • Experience with wetland monitoring techniques and data analysis
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in ACAD and environmental assessment software
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
