Position Summary:

We are looking for a Helpdesk and User Support Specialist who will assist the IT Infrastructure Team to provide support for internal employees by helping identify and resolve various requests. The team provides support to teams across Latam (Latin America).

This is a remote position.

What You'll Do:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues remotely
  • Configure laptops, desktops, phones, iOS devices, and other equipment
  • Resolve assigned helpdesk tickets, assist in troubleshooting, identify issues and provide technical support within defined SLAs
  • Coordinate with new hires to resolve first week access issues
  • Order new hire IT accessories and document receipts as needed
  • Provision access to different applications through Okta and coordinate with app owners and managers for approval
  • Provide direct level Tier 1-2 support and escalate to the appropriate teams when needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written. 
  • Customer service focused and serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance over Slack, email, phone, web conference, and in person
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Follow up with users to ensure full resolution of issues
  • Demonstrated experience of the following: 
    • Mac and Windows operating systems
    • MDM platforms such as JAMF and Microsoft Intune
    • SaaS applications users management 
    • SSO solution 
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, GitHub, and Zoom
  • Working knowledge of endpoint security solution
  • Familiar with Jira project management and service desk platform
  • Manage new hires onboarding and employees offboarding 
    • Account creation/deletion 
    • Access provisioning/deprovisioning 
    • Laptop provisioning/deprovisioning 
    • Train users on help desk process including IT and Security policies and practices
  • Team player with collaborative mindset and able to consider the big picture and consequences during decision making process
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and willingness to learn and develop in both technical and soft skills
  • Understand the importance of documentation
